How to Get From Orlando to the Kennedy Space Center?

There are two ways that you can get to the Kennedy Space Center from Orlando - either by car/taxi or by opting for bus transfers. While public transportation isn’t available to get to the complex, you can easily drive down or get tickets that include round-trip transfers for a seamless experience.

Directions from Orlando

Orlando to Kennedy Space Center

Via State Road 50

  • To get from Orlando to Kennedy Space Center by car, you can take State Road 50. Once you get onto the highway, travel eastward for about 50 miles.
  • Once you get past I-95, take the east intersection and get onto State Road 405. You will see signs pointing to the Kennedy Space Center. Follow these signs for about 10 miles and then turn right onto the Space Commerce Way.
  • After about 1.2 miles, you will spot the entrance to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on your left.

Via State Road 528

  • Another option is to take State Road 528. Stay on this road for about 50 miles and take the left exit towards Titusville and Kennedy Space Center.
  • This puts you on State Road 407 after which you will have to turn right to get onto State Road 405. Drive for about 7.5 miles following the signs to Kennedy Space Center and then turn right to get onto the Space Commerce Way.
  • Continue for about 1.2 miles until you see Kennedy Space Center on your left.

Orlando to Kennedy Space Center

From Daytona Beach

  • To get to Kennedy Space Center from Daytona Beach, travel south on I-95 and take Exit 215 to get onto Highway 50.
  • From here, take a right onto State Road 405 and keep moving straight until you see signs pointing toward the Kennedy Space Center.
  • After about 10 miles, turn right onto Space Commerce Way. You will find the Visitor Complex on your left after about 1.2 miles.

From Miami

  • If you’re traveling from Miami, make your way towards State Road 407 from the I-95 Exit 212.
  • Continue on State Road 407 until you reach State Road 405. Turn right and follow the Kennedy Space Center signs for about 7.5 miles.
  • Take a right onto Space Commerce Way and drive for about 1.2 miles until you see the Visitor Complex on your left.
Orlando to Kennedy Space Center

From Cocoa Beach

  • If you’re starting from Cocoa Beach, head north and make your way onto State Road 528.
  • Take Exit 3/State Road 3 which will lead you to Merritt Island. Once you’re on State Road 3, drive for about 8 miles and then turn left onto Space Commerce Way.
  • Kennedy Space Center will be on your left after about 1.5 miles.
